First (and probably only) beach day of the summer

Yesterday, Mom, Trisha, Reggie, and I drove to Oceanside South Pier Beach. We got there around 1 P.M. (so late, right? Not really, it was perfect timing!) and wow, boy, was it crowded! There was a big revival being hosted by a group called FBI and tons of vendors spread out throughout the boardwalk.

We found a good spot nearby the black and yellow checkered flag that lets beach-goers know it is OK to swim in that part of the ocean. Trisha and Reggie hardly went into the water, but Mom and I took the waves on, woohoo! I borrowed a body board from Ernie and rented another at the beach. Soooo many people were out there to catch and jump through waves xDD. I almost smashed a little boy when I was coming in once, but I managed to stop right before I could run him over, hehe. I saw the look on his face when I was looming over him -- his eyes widened, haha! Ohhh, and I had the best wave run of my life >.<. I did not think the wave would be that great, but I caught it anyways and was greatly surprised! I picked up speed so fast and the wave was so powerful that it brought me all the way back to the beach. The best part was that I had enough momentum to cleanly maneuver around people, which was AWESOME, yes!! >.<. Ahahahaha, soooo cool. At another time, Mom and I both went out with our boogieboards and caught the same wave. We looked at each other while we were riding it in and laughed. Too bad none of us took pictures or videos of any of that.

We returned to Murrieta around 6 P.M. I dropped Reggie off at her place (we decided to cancel the sleep over since the girls and I were heading to my grandparents' house to visit Grandpa), then all of us girls visited our grandparents (Gramps was finally released from the hospital).

Later that night, I got a text from a friend, asking if I could pick him up from work. He ended up crashing at my house for various reasons, number one being that he did not have a place to stay that night. Anyways, let's see how things play out.
